Swapping the Chemo Ice Cap for the Swim Cap!
This March, I'm taking part in The Big Bold Swim to support breast cancer research and save lives.
In December I was diagnosed with breast cancer for the 3rd time. To make the mid point of my chemo a little more interesting I'm challenging myself to learn how to swim distance freestyle. I know that with these shoulders I look like a swimmer but I sink, badly, and just can't figure out the breathing thing!
Every 3 weeks I will be having chemo so there are going to be some tough days and some positively delightful days. Through them all I am going to try to swim.
