Support my walk for breast cancer to help save lives.
This June, I’m taking on the challenge of walking 150km as part of The Big Bold Walk, in support of two very close friends and to help raise funds for breast cancer research.
One of those friends, Kim, is a breast cancer survivor who is also challenging herself to walk 60km this month. Despite still undergoing treatment, Kim received the incredible news this week that she has been given the all-clear. It’s a milestone worth celebrating and a reminder of just how important research, treatment and early detection can be.
My other friend is still undergoing treatment, and we continue to stand beside her with hope, strength and optimism as she navigates her own journey. We look forward to the day she receives the same wonderful news.
Together, Kim and I are aiming to walk a combined 210km throughout June.
For Kim, this challenge is deeply personal. She is walking in gratitude for the care and treatment she has received and to help raise funds for research that could make a life-changing difference for others facing a breast cancer diagnosis.
Every day in Australia, 56 people are diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s a confronting statistic and a reminder of why continued research is so vital.
By supporting Breast Cancer Trials, we’re helping fund the development of better treatments, improved prevention strategies, and ultimately working towards saving more lives.
If you’re in a position to do so, I would be incredibly grateful for your support. Every donation, big or small, contributes to life-changing breast cancer research and brings us one step closer to a future where no more lives are cut short by this disease.
Thank you for your generosity, encouragement and support. 💕
