Ellen Edwards

I'm conquering 200km in loving memory of my mum, Shirley.

My beautiful mum lost her battle with breast cancer at 4pm on 24 November 2020. While it can be easy to remain in grief, mum would never have wanted that. As I always tell my niece, let's talk about the best memories of nanny (mum) and so we do. We remember her contagious laugh, her positivity, her hugs, her gorgeous personality, her quirks - her as someone everyone loved but no one loved her as much as her grandchildren, my dad, my brother and I. Taking on this challenge and raising funds for a great cause is not just for my mum, it's for her mum, and her mum's mum - that's 3 generations on my mother's side. It would be great to put a stop to that trend!

Support my walk for breast cancer to help save lives.

This June, I'm taking part in The Big Bold Walk to support breast cancer research and save lives.

Did you know that 56 people are diagnosed with breast cancer every day in Australia? It's heart-breaking.

I'm walking to raise funds for Breast Cancer Trials to find new and better treatments and prevention strategies for every person affected by breast cancer to save lives today, tomorrow and forever.

Please support me now by sponsoring my challenge. Every dollar helps.

Together, we can move closer to a world where NO MORE lives are cut short by breast cancer.

Thank you so much.
