Support my walk for breast cancer to help save lives.
This June, I'm taking part in The Big Bold Walk to support breast cancer research and save lives.
Did you know that 56 people are diagnosed with breast cancer every day in Australia? It's heart-breaking. And how many in the rest of the world?
My late grandmother was one of them, and she was about my age now when she got her first diagnosis. We lost her, years later, as the cancer came back and won the last battle. Unfortunately, I am far from the only one who lost a loved one to breast cancer. Being a mum myself, I'm taking further action this year to help every person impacted, today and tomorrow.
Inspired by many Mums, my parents who love hiking and walking everywhere, I will be walking to raise funds for Breast Cancer Trials to find new and better treatments and prevention strategies for every person affected by breast cancer to save lives today, tomorrow and forever.
