Afternoon delight

A nice walk this afternoon with Greg to help stretch out his legs after a few flights.

It’s hard to believe it’s winter when you can go for an afternoon walk in a t-shirt. After this walk, I am over halfway towards my 5km target.

40% the way there

I have just clocked up another 1 km with a beautiful walk around the Husskison foreshore area. It’s a stunning winters day and the ocean is just so pretty twinkling away with the sun beaming down in it.
I am absolutely blown away by the support I have received and surpassed my original $250 sponsorship goal. Given this, I have increased my sponsorship goal to $500 and we’ll see how I go. 
That’s $100 for every kilometre I walk. 
Yes, the walking does cause me a lot of discomfort, but so does cancer treatment and I would rather others avoid having to go through that, so that keeps me pushing forward to help raise money for cancer trials.
