Terms & Conditions

The Big Bold Walk (the ‘Event’) is an initiative of ANZ Breast Cancer Trials Group Ltd Trading As Breast Cancer Trials (‘BCT’) to raise funding to support its national breast cancer clinical trials research program.

The Event commences on 1st June 2026 and ends on 30th June 2026.

By registering for the Event, the participant or the parent/guardian of a participant under 18 years, acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

General:

• The decision to participate in the Event is entirely your own and you take full responsibility for any consequence of your participation in the Event for yourself.
• Any content you post to your fundraising page on the Event website (e.g. photos and text) is your responsibility, and you must have the necessary rights to post that content (including the consent of others who feature in the content). BCT retains the right to delete any content posted.
• You acknowledge that BCT reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of the Event at any time.

Fundraising:

• You acknowledge that by registering for the Event, you pledge to raise funds for BCT to support research for the treatment, prevention and cure of breast cancer.
• All fundraising conducted for this Event comes under BCT’s authority to fundraise in the respective State or Territory in Australia where you reside and you agree to be bound by the relevant state and national fundraising legislation and abide by BCT’s guidelines on Community Fundraising.
• BCT can refund a donation made in error. If you wish to request a refund, please contact BCT via challengeenquiries@bctrials.org.au.

Privacy:

• BCT respects and is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information it collects.
• BCT will collect your personal information and any other information you may volunteer (such as your experience or involvement with breast cancer) so that we can administer and conduct the Event and keep you informed about BCT, its fundraising activities and the important research you are supporting.
• More information about the management of personal information, including storage and use, access and correction, and removal is included in our Privacy Policy.

Prize Draws:

• You must be registered for The Big Bold Walk 2026 to be eligible for any prizes.
• Prizes will be distributed by Breast Cancer Trials.
• Prizes cannot be redeemed or exchanged for any other products.
• Winners will be notified and have 72 hours from the time and date of the notification to respond and claim their prize. If the prize is not claimed within this time frame, the prize will be redrawn, and any previous winners will forgo claims to the prize.
