Support my swim for breast cancer to help save lives.
This February, I'm taking part in The Big Bold Swim to support breast cancer research and save lives.
As most friends know my mum was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and commences her chemo tomorrow (31/12/2025). 2026 is going to be a challenging year for her, with 6 months of chemo and then surgery, but she has decided to attempt this fundraising challenge, so I thought I would do it as well.
I’m certainly no swimmer, but I’m going to swim 7km over the month and if mum can’t finish her pledge, I will pick up the slack.
Did you know that 56 people are diagnosed with breast cancer every day? It's heart-breaking.
I'm swimming to raise funds for Breast Cancer Trials to find new and better treatments and prevention strategies for every person affected by breast cancer to save lives today, tomorrow and forever.
